1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using YT Transfer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. YT Transfer is provided by YT Corporation ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

YT Transfer is a local file sharing application that enables users to:

• Transfer files between mobile devices and computers on the same local network
• Share files up to 10 MB in size (large file support in development)
• Connect devices via QR code scanning or manual pairing
• Manage files within the app's dedicated storage

The App operates entirely on your local Wi-Fi network and does not use cloud storage or external servers for file transfers.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use YT Transfer only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Transfer files that infringe on intellectual property rights
• Share malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the App to transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

3.2 Network Security

You are responsible for securing your local network and devices. We recommend using the optional pairing code feature and ensuring your Wi-Fi network is password-protected.

3.3 File Content

You are solely responsible for the content of files you transfer using YT Transfer. Ensure you have the right to share any files you transfer through the App.

4. Intellectual Property

YT Transfer, including its design, features, and code, is owned by YT Corporation and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our express written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

YT Transfer is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App
• Warranties that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted

We do not guarantee that file transfers will be successful, complete, or free from data loss. You should maintain backups of important files.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YT Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or files
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damage to devices or systems
• Unauthorized access to your network or files

Our total liability for any claims related to YT Transfer shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is currently zero, as the App is free).

7. Privacy

Your use of YT Transfer is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information.

8. App Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue YT Transfer at any time without notice. We may also release updates that change features, fix bugs, or improve performance. You are responsible for keeping the App updated.

9. File Size Limitations

The current version of YT Transfer supports file transfers up to 10 MB. Larger file support is under development. We do not guarantee the ability to transfer files of any specific size.

10. Third-Party Content

YT Transfer enables file transfers between devices but does not host, store, or control the content of transferred files. We are not responsible for any third-party content accessed or transferred through the App.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate your use of YT Transfer at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YT Corporation, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of YT Transfer
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you transfer through the App

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of YT Transfer shall be resolved in the courts of your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of YT Transfer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and YT Corporation regarding YT Transfer and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
